I am a Year 4 student at Paparore School School in Northland, New Zealand. Whaea Deb is my teacher. My blog is a collection of my work at various stages, across different curriculum areas. Throughout my time at Paparore School I may share draft copies of my work for feedback and feedforward. Other times I will share my final published pieces.
We have been learning about the taonga in our school and community. We have also been learning our pepeha. A pepeha is a way introduce yourself. My pepeha tells other people who I am and where I come from.
Hi Jesse, I love your pepeha and drawings. It is really interesting to find out about the carvings in your school pou and what they mean.
